The sleek simplicity of modern decor doesn't have to be impractical or expensive. In this week's eNote, you'll find tips and strategies for incorporating the style into your own home.
Since modern decor is highly used in loft-style spaces, we added a faux column to the featured dining room as an example of how you can create your own industrial elements. What you're seeing is not concrete, rather the back side of stucco siding panels we found at the home center. You could use any material that suits your space. Just build a floor-to-ceiling structure with plywood, as shown in the illustration below, and adhere your siding material to it.
