Here's a fall decorating project that will put your creativity to the test. Use miniature pumpkins to make a custom "caterpillar" centerpiece!
Build a Bug. First, you'll need to give the caterpillar its "spots." You can do this by equipping a drill with a diamond dust hole saw, and then drilling into the pumpkins' surfaces to make a circle pattern. Then lay out the pumpkins in the spot where you'd like to display your creation.
Add Custom Details. With the pumpkin caterpillar in place, it's time to give it some personality. Make holes for its antennae, cut drinking straws to size, and stick the straws in. Finally, use thumbtacks to add facial features.
