Basic desks, tables, and bookshelves are staples in many homes. Although they're inexpensive and serve their functions well, they're usually not very stylish.
Easy Embellishment. Luckily, it's not hard to transform these pieces into a matching set. We did that by adding some decorative brackets.
We wanted to make the brackets a different color. To do this, we just applied several light coats of spray paint.
Once the paint on the brackets had dried, we were ready to attach the brackets. We drove screws through the bracket holes and into pre-drilled holes in the furniture.
