Miter joints between molding pieces can look nice, but they’re not always necessary. If you don’t feel like tackling them, you can just make 90-degree cuts on the molding sections instead.
Quicker Corners. When the pieces are cut, just use a corner block to fill in the space. Corner blocks are sold near the molding at the home center, and can add a decorative touch.
