Applying caulk is the perfect way to fill gaps and create seamless transitions between sinks, tile, or trim boards and the adjacent wall. But if you’ve ever tried doing it yourself, you may have found that applying a clean bead can be tricky. Luckily, you can solve that problem with simple painter’s tape.
Tape Trick. Apply the tape on either side of the area where you want the caulk to go. Now lay the caulk, and smooth it with your finger (inset). When you peel back the tape, you’ll be left with a tidy bead of caulk.
