Separate Adjoining Spaces with Paint

Adjacent walls don’t have to be painted the same color. In fact, painting walls with two different tones is a great way to provide visual separation between areas in an open space.

Define the Room. In this home, for example, we applied two different colors to the walls in the space. The purple tone helps define the living area, while the beige color complements it but also provides definition for the adjoining area.
