Adding a great new backsplash will give your kitchen a fast face-lift. Instead of using tile or another traditional material, however, we used cork floor panels.
Clever Cork. Purchase enough cork flooring to cover your backsplash area. Cut the panels to size, and glue them on with construction adhesive. The flooring is water-resistant, so no additional finish is needed.
