An inconvenient lower cabinet will become much easier to use with this clever project idea. We removed the door to the cabinet, and then built a set of pull-out storage units. The units extend out of the cabinet, and you can even remove the baskets themselves and set them on the counter if desired.
Smart Storage. Each unit consists of a plywood frame that’s built to fit the width of the cabinet and mounted to a pair of drawer glides. The opening in the frame is sized to fit a basket of your choice. Then you can add a wood handle to the front that’s stained or painted to match your cabinets.
