If you want a creative backsplash covering, look no further than this unique treatment. We cut tiles from medium-density fiberboard (often referred to as MDF), and rounded all of the edges on one face of each tile.
Stain & Seal. Next, we applied stain to each tile and let it dry. We filled a disposable pan with polyurethane, and soaked each tile to make it waterproof. Then we attached the tiles to the wall with construction adhesive.
