A handy memo board makes it easy to stay organized. Then, by adding a custom fabric pocket, you can store memos, menus, and any other papers in a convenient location.
Make the Board. The boards are made from an inexpensive sheet good called Homasote. Cut the material to size with a jigsaw, and you’re ready to personalize the boards with fabric.
To give your board a pocket, you’ll start by laying out a piece of fabric. Leave excess material at the bottom edge, and create a fold using that fabric.
Next, fold the edges of the fabric around the back of the panel. Be sure to maintain a neat-looking fold for the pocket. Then staple the fabric in place.
The panels are attached to the wall with sawtooth hangers. When you’re done hanging the pocket bulletin board, you’re ready to put it to work.
