Doors that scrape in their openings are a common annoyance around the house. Luckily, there’s an easy way to fix this frustrating problem and realign the door.
Quick Fix. Simply place a thin piece of cardboard under the hinge that’s opposite the location where the door is scraping. In many cases, this will reposition the door correctly in the opening to stop the scraping.
